Im_flieger eröffnet im Jahr 2022 die > SCHULE@Im_flieger, ein hybrides Format, das transgenerationale und transdisziplinäre Wissensvermittlung, künstlerische Forschung und Produktion, sowie Diskurs vereint.
Unter der Leitung der Performancekünstlerin Claudia Heu und des Theatermachers Philipp J. Ehmann, wird im ersten Jahr zum Thema „Performative Kunst. Öffentlicher Raum. Anwesenheit.“ an der Schnittstelle von Kunst und Sozialem geforscht. Als erfahrene Praktikerinnen und Mentorinnen werden die beiden mit ausgewählten Teilnehmerinnen performative und lernende Räume für soziales und gesellschaftliches Bewusstsein entwickeln. Im Zentrum stehen die Erforschung neuer Kontexte, Arbeitsweisen und Formen künstlerischer Interventionen im öffentlichen Raum.
Die Temporäre Schule zur Entwicklung schöner Gesten ermöglicht den Teilnehmerinnen ihre eigene künstlerische Praxis zu befragen und weiterzuentwickeln. Über drei Monate werden sie mit verschiedenen erfahrenen Künstlerinnen, Geistesforscherinnen, Aktivist*innen und in der Gruppe selbst im Austausch sein. Danach besteht die Möglichkeit, die entwickelten Arbeiten über den Sommer zu vertiefen und im Herbst 2022 nochmals zu veröffentlichen.
Wer kann einreichen?
Künstlerinnen, sowie interessierte Menschen aus verschiedenen Berufsfeldern. Es wird eine heterogene Gruppe mit maximal 8 Teilnehmerinnen angestrebt.
Konditionen:
Verbindliche Teilnahme im Zeitraum 4. April bis 17. Juni 2022 // Optional: bis Mitte Oktober 2022 (Details siehe Zeitplan)
Arbeitsstipendien in der Höhe von bis zu 2.500,-€ werden auf Anfrage vergeben.
Anfallende Materialkosten werden in begrenztem Ausmaß abgedeckt.

I_ KENNENLERNEN
Claudia Heu und Philipp J. Ehmann teilen ihre Arbeitsweisen und -zugänge theoretisch und praktisch mit den Teilnehmerinnen. Diese werden auf ihre Anwendbarkeit und Relevanz in Bezug auf das eigene Interessen und die eigenen Fragestellungen der Teilnehmenden untersucht, analysiert und individuell weiterentwickelt. Kleine und größere Experimente, interaktive Performances im öffentlichen Raum und Übungen für und mit den Teilnehmerinnen werden entstehen.
18.-23. April 2022
II_ LABOR & SYMPOSIUM mit geladenen Gästen.
Im Rahmen dieses Labors werden internationale Künstlerkolleginnen, Aktivistinnen und Geistesforscherinnen, die sich an der Schnittstelle von Kunst, Sozialem und Bewusstsein bewegen zu einem einwöchigen Labor eingeladen, um verschiedene Zugänge und Arbeitsweisen zu teilen und zu erproben. Das Labor soll vor allem auch ein Raum zur Selbstreflexion für Teilnehmerinnen sein. Am Ende der Woche findet eine öffentliche Veranstaltung der geladenen Gäste in Form eines Symposiums (Lectures / Panels) zum Thema „Kunst als sozialer Raum“ statt.

III_ INTEGRIEREN
In einer weiteren Arbeitswoche werden Erkenntnisse und Inhalte und deren Anwendung auf die jeweilige Arbeitsweise der teilnehmenden Künstler*innen überlegt. Praktisch werden Orte/Räume erkundet, Themen fixiert, Zugänge und Skizzen konkretisiert.

VI_ SELBSTÄNDIGES WEITERARBEITEN–VERÖFFENTLICHEN
Bis Oktober gibt es die Möglichkeit die entstandenen Arbeiten unter Begleitung der Mentor*innen zu vertiefen, auszuarbeiten und im Herbst nochmals zu veröffentlichen.
Im_flieger opens > SCHULE@Im_flieger in 2022, a hybrid format that combines transgenerational and transdisciplinary knowledge transfer, artistic research, production and discourse.
Under the direction of performance artist Claudia Heu and theatre maker Philipp J. Ehmann, the first year will be dedicated to the subject „Performative Art. Public Space. Presence.“ at the interface of art and social issues. As experienced practitioners and mentors, the two will develop performative and learning spaces for social and civic awareness with selected participants. The emphasis will be on exploring new contexts, ways of working and forms of artistic interventions in public space.
The Temporary School for the Development of Beautiful Gestures enables participants to question and further develop their own artistic practice. Over three months, they will be in exchange with various experienced artists, intellectual researchers, activists and the group itself.
Afterwards, there will be the opportunity to deepen the created work over the summer and share it in public space again in autumn 2022.
Who can submit?
Artists, as well as interested people from other professional fields are welcome. A heterogeneous group with a maximum of 8 participants is aimed for.
Conditions:
Required participation in the period 4 April to 17 June 2022 // Optional: until mid-October 2022 (see schedule for details).
Participation fee: 450€ (after acceptance)
Working grants of up to 2.500 € are possible on request.

I_GET TO KNOW
Claudia Heu and Philipp J. Ehmann share their working methods and approaches theoretically and practically with the participants. These will be examined for their appropriateness and relevance in relation to the participants‘ own interests and questions, analyzed and individually developed further. Small and larger experiments, interactive performances in public space and exercises for and with the participants will be created.
18.-23. April 2022
II_ LABORATORY & SYMPOSIUM with invited guests.
In the framework of this lab, international artist colleagues, activists and intellectual researchers who work at the intersection of art, social issues and consciousness will be invited to a one-week laboratory to share and test different approaches and ways of working. The lab is also intended to be a space for self-reflection for participants. At the end of the week, a public event of invited guests will take place in the form of a symposium (lectures / panels) on the theme of „Art as Social Space“.

III_ INTEGRATE
In a further working week, insights and contents and their application to the individual working methods of the participating artists will be considered. Places/spaces will be explored in practice, themes fixed, approaches and sketches concretized.
