Being the interface:
Von den 5 Sinnen erscheint der Tastsinn als eine der strengst reglementierten Formen der Kommunikation und der Wahrnehmung. In unserer auf das Sehen orientierten Kultur wird er traditionell als ein “niedrigerer” Sinn betrachtet. Es gibt keine anerkannte Kunstform, die einzig und allein den Tastsinn anspricht.

Piece Touchee No. 1 ist eine Performance, die sich jenseits von üblicher Konnotationen von Berührung nur über die Wahrnehmung des Tastsinns gestaltet, und auf dem Körper des Besuchers aufgeführt wird. (Länge: 15–20 Minuten).

Being the interface:
Touch is the most strictly codified sense and form of communication in our society. Traditionally considered one of the “lower” senses in our vision-centered culture, it has no art officially or exclusively dedicated to it.
Piece Touchee No. 1 is a performance designed to be perceived only through the sense of touch, working beyond the usual connotations. The piece will be performed on your body. (Duration 15 to 20 minutes). You will not be asked to be active.
