Im_flieger provides selected dance/performance artists with space for 4 weeks, as well as fees for research and production, and offers choreographic and transmedia works a supportive environment: logistical accompaniment, as well as artistic coaching and publication of the work results at the end of the residency.
Who can apply?
Artists based in Vienna, working on a performative project or research in the field of dance and performance. Transdisciplinary and hybrid works with a focus on body-based practices are welcome. We provide residencies for 4 projects.
Support/ conditions:
- Space for 4 weeks (approx 5 hours/day)

- Technical support (Unfortunately we cannot consider projects with loud sound/music)
- Foto- and Videodocumentation
- Publication of the working results in Vienna
- Artistic Coaching 10-15 h
- Production consulting with Sophie Schmeiser 2 h (optional)
- Support for project application with Claire Lefèvre 2 h (optional)
