Kim Groneweg (DE/AT)

has a bachelor’s degree in theater studies and cultural and social anthropology of the Free University of Berlin and a master’s degree in “Applied Theater – artistic practice & society” of the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
Before and during her studies, Kim was involved in theater pedagogical and educational politics projects; among others at the Schaubühne Berlin or at the climate camp in the forest “Dannenröder Forst”.
She has taken on one or the other assistant position, e.g. as a student assistant at GIGA (German Institute of Global and Area Studies), as a production assistant at the theater festival HIN & WEG or as an assistant director at the Schauspielhaus Salzburg.
In her own artistic work, she has mainly dealt with queer feminist topics, e.g. with gender-based violence.
In doing so, she proceeds in a documentary approach, e.g. with including the affected people, be it live or through original recordings, she tries out site-specific formats, performative encounters as well as audio walks.
Kim moved to Vienna recently, there she slowly approaches the freelance world and works in the collaborative and interdisciplinary project “ze__R0!Ayns”.
