Guadalupe Aldrete (MX/AT)

is a multidisciplinary artist who has lived in Vienna since 2016. She is mainly active in the fields of performance, video art and installation. She was trained as a visual artist, trained in theater improvisation (2007-2008/ DE) and has participated in several performance and body awareness workshops with internationally recognized artists since 2009. In 2018, she completed the Master’s program “Art & Science” at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Her work has been shown internationally in exhibitions and art events. Guadalupe is the founder and curator of Latitud 32°N/55°S, a platform for Latin American performance art. From 2012 to 2015 she was co-curator of the platform “MPA-B, Month of Performance Art Berlin” and is co-founder of “APAB e.V.”, Association of Performance Art in Berlin. Since 2020 she is co-curator and co-organizer of the committee in Europe of the international performance art platform CONTINUO L-A-T-I-D-O AMERICANO DE PERFORMANCE. Since 2021, she has been co-curator of the performance festival S-MOM, which presents a non-binary, (post)feminist view of (non-)motherhood.
