Silvia Ribeiro (AT/IT)

(born 1985 in Italy) is a performer and dancer. She began her theater and dance training in Turin (Italy) at the age of 8. Until the age of 19, she was a student of the Italian theater director and theorist Claudio Montagna and the Faber Theater Company. At the age of 23, in addition to studying philosophy, she completed her academic studies at the Sergio Tofano Drama School under the direction of Mario Brusa as well as her dance training under Anita Cedroni and worked as an actress and dancer in Italy. At the age of 24, she began her training with international master classes: Gey Pin Ang, Odin Teatret, Living Theater, Sergei Kovalevich, Babananda Barbajan, Workcenter by Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards, Marigia Maggipinto, among others. In 2013 she founded BILOURA Collective and started internationally, especially in Europe, but also to work in America and Asia. Among other things, work with Leszek Madzik at the Avignon Festival in France in 2014, award with BILOURA at the Bangkok Theater Festival in Thailand in 2018, and as a performer with Barbara Kraus at the Tanzquartier Wien in Austria in 2020. As part of her collaboration with BILOURA, she also works as a director, author, teacher and performing arts theorist.
