Christian Schröder (AT)

lives and works in Vienna. He studied fine arts/media art/music at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, the Institute for the Problems of Contemporary Art, Moscow, the Theremin Center in Moscow, the Bauhaus University Weimar and the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar. Since 2010 he has been a member of Kollektiv/Rauschen, an interdisciplinary group of artists. Other collaborations in the field of performance/dance are with Melanie Maar, Synes Elischka, Mariella Greil and Daria Fain. His solo works and collaborations have been shown at Pioneer Works NYC, Venice Biennale Architecture, Fonoteca Nacional CDMX and Fabrika Project Moscow, among others. He was awarded the Adlmüller Scholarship (2007), the BKA Start Scholarship for Music (2014) and the First Prize for Electronic Music Salzburg (2019). His latest composition was shown at BRUT in collaboration with media artist Jan Machacek and choreographer Georg Blaschke. www.ckonrad.net
