From January 14th to 17th, visitors are invited to travel daily between 6 and 11 p.m. from one place to another in a dense programme, and there to experience a many-sided and intriguing agglomeration of artistic hybrids.
Besides the presentation of works, CROSSBREEDS Plattform 09 also focuses on the discourse about artistic content and questions of medial trans-disciplinarity in the form of “Walking Lectures”, as well as the exchange between the participating artists and communication with the audience by way of “Artist Talks”.
CROSSBREEDS is a platform for artistic positions dealing with the interleaving of dance, performance and other art forms, especially with the New Media. Around 35 works mainly by local young artists from the fields of dance, performance, film/video, animation, installation and interactive art offer insights into the diversity of current medial transgressions at various sites of the WUK area.
